Venice, Vicenza +2
I’m a Professional Tour Guide based in the Veneto region, and I help travelers design meaningful journeys through Venice and Northern Italy. I know this region not only through study, but through years of living and working here. From the canals of Venice and its lagoon to historic cities, elegant villas, and the landscapes of the Venetian countryside, I help travelers experience the area beyond the usual tourist paths. My goal is to create itineraries that feel natural, well paced, and rich in authentic experiences. I love suggesting special places, local restaurants, scenic routes, and encounters that reveal the true character of the region. If you want to explore Venice and the Veneto with the insight of someone who truly knows the area, I’ll be happy to help you plan your journey.

Florence
I was born in Florence, I soon fell in love with history and I consumed a lot of historical novels, mixing curiosity for the past and a great hungering for adventures, then, as a teenager, I chose a grammar school, following my passion for the classical studies, and decided to become an archaeologist. I chose to graduate (and take a PhD) in Medieval Archaeology beacuse I discovered the charm of the material history, the fantastic feeling of building history with my own hands, so I joined many excavations in Italy – Amiata mountain (southern Tuscany), Florentine area, the castles of the Guidi family – and in Jordan, in the crusader castle of Shawbak. As an archaeologist, I've met people from all around the world and discovered that, another passion of mine was telling real life stories about the real people of the past. Thus I became a tour guide! I really enjoy the contact with people, even with younger kids, and I like to involve people and families in edutainment and real experiences, well trained by years of reenactment! Recently I also attended courses to organize and implement guided tours accessible to people with visual and motor impairment. Last, but not least, I have a great passion for photography (cameras and cellphones)
Trieste, Gorizia +1
I am Yelena, a guide in Trieste, Italy. I am in love with my job and my city and do not tolerate any hack work. I came to this profession with a lot of knowledge and great life experience, with desire and a burning look. And here is the paradox: I have liked it! I knew perfectly well that I could not live without traveling. I love Trieste very much and I want travelers to see this unique city through my eyes and fall in love with it.
