Hi there!

My name is Bénédicte, and I am a French guide in London. A true Anglophile, I studied English at the Sorbonne in Paris and then, Art History here in London.

From British underground culture to London's industrial heritage, without leaving aside the painting masterpieces at the National Gallery and other museums, from major landmarks to more secret, hidden gems, my tours invite travellers to explore London and discover it as they have never seen it.

Whether you would like to book a tour with me or simply review your programme, I will be able to help create a stay tailored to your interests, your travel style and your budget.

As an art historian, I can assist in selecting which places to visit, what not to miss and is really worth seeing.

As the mum of young ones, I also know that visiting a city with children can be challenging. I will be able to help you navigate London and arrange for stops at all the good family-friendly spots and attractions - and I can guarantee that these were personally tested and approved by my own children! If you feel like going further and booking a tour with me, my kids-friendly tours are specifically designed for younger visitors, with games, booklets, etc.

Either way, I will be able to provide you with insights to make your stay enjoyable for the whole family.

Before I moved back to the UK four and a half years ago and created my guiding company, Arty Stories, I lived and worked in Paris (and Denmark, but that's another story!) on the art market, first at the auction house Christie's, and then at IDAIA's, an art gallery. I still go back to France regularly to visit my family, so if you are going to spend time in both London and Paris, I will be more than happy to support you in planning your trip, and give you my insider’s tips to make the most of your stay in the City of Light too - including croissant tasting!
