I'm Paul and I live in West London. Originally from Wales, I moved here 40 years ago and apart from a period in Boston MA I have lived here every since. After a long career in food I moved back into beer 14 years ago, working for Fuller's before setting up my beer event business AleHunters in 2018.

I host and organise craft brewery tours, beer tastings, Belgian tours, education and contribute articles to UK and Belgian magazines. I am also an international beer judge and have judged at competitions across the world.

For the past 40 years my family and I have continued to explore the streets and sights of our city. I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and also forged strong relationships across many sectors in business. Taking our dog for a walk through an unfamiliar neighbourhood, stopping for a beer or a bite to eat and continuing to explore is my perfect rest day.

I look forward to sharing my knowledge and tips with you.

• I love recommending to guests and friends the right tours and have a lot of historical knowledge regarding London. From Roman times to the present day. Avoiding the obvious sights I love to recommend little known curiosities, cool neighbourhoods and those places that never make it onto the pages of the major guidebooks.

• My most popular areas for recommendations are the historic city (Square Mile), Southwark and Borough Market, Covent Garden and Soho (West End), Belgravia and Westminster and my local neighbourhood Richmond.

• I can recommend fantastic pubs of all types, where to find the best craft breweries, excellent restaurants, cafes, street food and importantly how you can best reach these places.

• If you are interested in the arts, be it a gallery or a live music venue just ask me for recommendations. And if you would like to visit places that are out of the ordinary I can certainly help you there.
