Hi everyone, I'm Joseph/Joe and I'm a very proud Londoner with Italian heritage.

London has always felt like home to me. I was born here and even though we moved out to the coast when I was young, I was lucky enough to spend many of my weekends back in London, visiting museums and art galleries and getting myself better acquainted with this fantastic city. I have been interested in arts, architecture and culture my entire life and I went on to study architecture at the University of Manchester.

Theatre has been a big part of my life too, both as a performer and an audience member and after I left university, I was incredibly lucky to train as an actor at the The Poor School here in London.

I now lead architecture walking tours around the city, through my own brand The Fox and the Flâneur, which I have found to be the perfect combination of my backgrounds in performing and the built environment. In addition to this, I work in events at one of the UK's largest arts venues, the Southbank Centre, so am constantly surrounded by art and creativity.

I'm also half Italian and am deeply passionate about my roots, having been travelling to Italy since I was nine. In recent years, I have spent more time here, visiting new cities, brushing up on my language skills and of course, eating some of the best food in the world.

Through my tours, I share my passion for showing off the lesser known sides to my city and the places which really make London special.

In addition to this architectural knowledge and expertise, I am a big supporter of independent and local businesses as well as restaurants across a wide range of cuisines, from popular eateries, to smaller, less easy to find locations.

Also, as a regular theatre and exhibition goer I will always be able to recommend the current must-see shows, whether at the larger, more famous venues or in places off the beaten track
