Hello, I’m Debbie. I was born and raised near Milan, in Northern Italy, but my family roots are in Southern Italy. Growing up between these two worlds gave me a deep appreciation for the diversity, traditions, and unique character that make Italy such a fascinating country to explore. Travel has always been one of my greatest passions. Over the years, I’ve explored countless destinations both in Italy and abroad, traveling as a couple and on my own. These experiences taught me that the most memorable places are often not the ones featured on the front pages of travel guides. What sets me apart is my passion for finding authentic experiences away from the crowds. I love discovering hidden villages, peaceful countryside retreats, scenic routes, and lesser-known places where travelers can truly slow down and connect with their surroundings. I know the Lombardy region particularly well, including its beautiful lakes and many overlooked corners that most visitors never get to see. I also have extensive knowledge of regions such as Tuscany and Umbria, where I’ve collected unique recommendations, local experiences, and hidden gems that go beyond the typical tourist itinerary.

My name is Irene, I have a master's degree in design but have been working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. I'm half Slovenian, on my mother's side, while my father's work has allowed me to travel the world since I was little! I was born in Udine, in the heart of Friuli, but I've also lived in Berlin, Milan, and Modena. Yes, as a teenager, I wanted to escape my hometown because it felt too small, but as an adult, I wanted to return because I realized how special my entire region is, especially its borders! I have a special connection to Slovenia and consider Friuli a truly unique and strategic place for a wonderful vacation. My interests are varied: food, art, and the mountains are just the first that come to mind, and they're also the highlights of the area where I live!
