Hello, I’m Eleonora. I was born in Tuscany, just outside Florence, where growing up surrounded by history, shaped my curiosity and love for art. I studied Art History at the University of Florence, specializing in the Renaissance. I began guiding students early on, and it was there that I developed a passion for storytelling — because there is nothing more challenging than engaging teenagers and young adults. I later expanded my focus to the broader history of Italy, leading groups throughout the country, from Venice to Sicily. Eventually, I moved to Rome, where I now work as an expert tour guide, leading visits to the city’s most iconic sites, including the Vatican and the Colosseum, as well as off the beaten path, to some of its hidden gems. In my free time I love to drive around Italy to its myriad hilltop medieval towns, where each one is a new discovery, both architectural and natural and also, of course, culinary! Over the years, many travelers have asked me for advice and suggestions to help plan the rest of their itineraries. That is why I’m happy to connect with you even before your trip begins, sharing my insights and helping you make the most of your time in Italy.

Born and raised in Italy's Marche region, I have explored the country from north to south during travels and study periods away from home. I have lived part of my life in amazing cities such as Venice and Bologna, and have visited Rome a lot since I have family and friends there. I am an experienced trip planner for destinations all over Italy, from the breezy Cinqueterre in Liguria down to the sun kissed Amalfi coast. If you want someone to help you with all-encompassing guidance and make the best out of your trip to Italy, I will be most happy to help you!

Hey! I'm Beatrice. I come from Treviso, a little gem just outside Venice. I love trekking in the Dolomites, swimming in mountain lakes, and exploring new places. I work as a travel co-ordinator and I love exploring. Food is definitely my Achilles’ heel, I just can’t resist it! Especially Tiramisù (that was invented in my beautiful city: Treviso). I’m deeply in love with my region, Veneto, and I’m always happy to share it with others (because there’s so much more than just Venice). That said, even in Venice I know some hidden gems that are absolutely worth discovering 😉 Whether it’s uncovering hidden natural spots, planning outdoor adventures, or diving into local traditions, I love creating genuine, memorable experiences that go beyond the usual tourist paths.

I am a local tour guide with over twenty years of experience in Venice and it’s lagoon. As a native of the area and a resident nearby, I have a deep and authentic connection with this extraordinary land, which I know not only historically and artistically, but also in its most authentic and everyday aspects. I love sharing Venice’s natural beauty, artistic and cultural heritage, centuries-old traditions, and the unique identity that makes the lagoon a place like no other. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience that allows me to offer personalized itineraries, combining great masterpieces with lesser-known gems, offering an authentic and engaging experience. I also pay great attention to food and wine, guiding guests to discover the typical flavours and culinary traditions of Venice. 👋 Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Francesca, I live in a small town in the province of Ravenna. I speak English and French. 🎨 I'm an art expert because of my two degrees in Cultural Heritage and Visual Arts at the University of Bologna, where I've lived during my studies. I've lived it with a student life's eyes (pubs, restaurants, places to have fun, listen to some music, dance...) but also because I love art Ive explored museums, art galleries, history, traditions, culture and more. ✈️ After University I decided to take a break and I've moved to Canada where I've lived for more than one year, then I came back to become a Travel Designer thanks to a course in Milan. 🧳 This year I got my Tour Guide certificate with the goal to guide families, groups of friends or couples during their travels to show them more than they expect!

I’m originally from Italy and have spent years helping travellers plan their trips across the country through my instagram page @friendinitaly - from iconic destinations like Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast to lesser-known places that most tourists completely miss. After moving to the United States four years ago, I realized how difficult it can be to truly understand how to travel in Italy without local insight. That’s why I started helping people plan smarter, more authentic trips - not just following generic itineraries, but creating experiences that actually fit their travel style. I’ve helped hundreds of travellers with practical advice on transportation, timing, hidden spots, and how to avoid common mistakes that can ruin a trip. I also guide people on how to move efficiently between cities, how many days to spend in each destination, and which cities to choose for a first trip to Italy. Whether you're visiting Italy for the first time or coming back for something deeper, I can help you make the most of your time.

Hi! I’m Emanuele, a passionate traveler and sports enthusiast with a love for discovering cities through their hidden corners and authentic experiences. While I’ve explored many places around the world, my heart is in Milan, a city I know inside out. I enjoy everything from iconic landmarks to quiet streets off the beaten path, and I love sharing those special spots that only a local can show. Whether it’s culture, food, history, or hidden gems, my goal is to create personalized experiences that make you feel truly connected to the city. I believe travel is about curiosity, discovery, and living a place fully (and I’d love to be your guide to experience Italy in a mindful, authentic way).

I'm Andrea, I have visited over 50 countries around the world. I speak English and Spanish, and traveling has always been my way of truly understanding how places work, not just seeing them. Despite this, Italy remains the place I'm most attached to. I've always lived and worked there, and over the years I've traveled extensively throughout the country: not as a tourist, but by immersing myself in local dynamics, getting to know the people, businesses, and regions firsthand. This is precisely what makes the difference. I've built a solid network of local contacts throughout Italy: entrepreneurs, professionals, and reliable operators, people I've worked with or know directly. These aren't generic suggestions, but real connections. I love Italy because it's incredibly diverse: each area has its own identity, rules, and opportunities. It's a country that can offer so much, but only if you know how to navigate it. I've invested years learning this firsthand, and today I can guide people in a practical, direct, and effective way. In short: I don't just offer advice, but access to a proven local network and concrete knowledge of the area!

I’m Valerio, a licensed tourist guide based in Venice and the founder of deTourist. I was born in Italy but spent many years living and working abroad before returning to Venice to focus on cultural heritage and storytelling. With a degree in Cultural Heritage Management from Ca’ Foscari University and several years of experience guiding international travelers, I specialize in private tours that go beyond the usual highlights. My goal is to help visitors experience Venice as a living city, not just a destination. I design experiences that connect art, history, local life, and craftsmanship. From hidden neighborhoods and artisan workshops to the islands of the Venetian lagoon, my tours focus on authentic places and meaningful encounters with the culture of Venice. I speak English, German, Italian, and Spanish, and I enjoy adapting every experience to the interests of my guests - whether they are visiting Venice for the first time or returning to discover a different side of the city. For me, supporting you is not just about sharing information. It is about creating memorable moments and helping you see Venice through the eyes of someone who truly lives here.

I am a qualified guide for the City of Venice and I have been living in Venice for the last 20 years of my life. I was born in the Venetian mainland and as a child I lived in Iraq, Australia and the Gulf (Qatar and Kuwait). I decided to study Archaeology in Venice and I specialized in Medieval and Islamic Archaeology: my studies took me to Egypt and I spent part of my life in Cairo. I graduated in 2004 and as an archaeologist I worked in Veneto Region, in Tuscany and in Syria. In 2009 I earned my qualification as tourist guide; while in 2023 I earned a special qualification to lead private tours inside the synagogues of the Jewish Ghetto. Although Venice is my base, I get the chance to spend a good amount of time in the Dolomites: I go skiing in Winter months and hiking in Summertime. Thus now I can call Cadore - the Veneto side of the Dolomites - my second home.

Hello fellow travellers! I'm Loris, from the Veneto region of Italy, and I've spent the last few years hopping between cities in Europe and Asia, always seeking new challenges and experiences. My latest stop has landed me in Zurich. I have an undeniable love for the outdoors and all things adventure. Whether I'm sailing across the crystal open waters of the Mediterranean Sea, exploring the underwater world through scuba diving, carving up the slopes on a snowboard, or hiking through breathtaking mountain trails in the Dolomites, I'm always seeking that next adrenaline rush. My passion for travel was ignited at a young age. My first trip abroad was to Thailand when I was just 3yo (thanks Dad), and I've been hooked ever since. That exposure sparked a curiosity within me to discover new places and cultures around the globe. For me travelling is more than sightseeing, it's about immersing yourself in the local way of life. I love wandering through bustling markets, inhaling the aromas of exotic spices, and savoring the unique flavors of local cuisine. I'm fascinated by connecting with people from different walks of life, learning about their customs and traditions, and gaining a deeper understanding of their world. So, are you ready to pack your bags and embark on an incredible journey? Let's explore the world together and create lasting memories, one adventure at a time!

Ciao a tutti! Are you looking for a tailored trip experience? Let me introduce myself! I'm Lorenzo, born and raised in the heart of Veneto with a passion for my native region and for traveling. I live on the border between the provinces of Padua and Vicenza, I've studied at Ca' Foscari University and worked at the European Cultural Centre, both located in the historic town of Venice. As you may imagine I've got a lifetime experience for trips around my region: a hike in the Venetian Prealps, a Bacari Tour in Venice, sunbathing on the shore of Lake Garda, trying the local food at a festival, wandering around in the old centre of Bassano del Grappa... and more planned! I'm a traveller. Meaning that not only do I organise all my own trips but also trips with my friends, from mainstream destinations like London or Madrid to places less common among travellers like Sarajevo and Tallinn. I've also studied abroad in the Canary Islands, Tokyo and Paris. What all my trips have in common is "don't miss the famous spots, try local food, experience something new" trying to feel like an active tourist. If you need a proud local who understands travelers' needs, I'm here!

I am a Venetian Venice-based cultural expert with more than 15 years of experience working in the tourism industry. My family has lived in Venice for over a thousand years, and this deep-rooted connection shapes the way I understand and share the city. I chose to build my life here, despite the challenges of living in Venice today, and I dedicated my studies to its history. I am also a mother, and I experience Venice every day not only as a professional, but through real daily life — walking its streets and sharing it with my children and my dogs. This allows me to see beyond the surface and help travelers discover a more authentic Venice, avoiding clichés and experiencing its true character. For me, every journey here is not just about visiting Venice, but about bringing a piece of it back with you — in your heart, through its history, its people, its food, and the quiet, unmistakable rhythm of your footsteps echoing through its streets, something you will never feel anywhere else.

Hello everyone, I’m Eleonora — a former globetrotter, licensed tour guide, and travel designer based in Rome. Traveling has always been my way of understanding the world, and over time I’ve turned this passion into my work: helping others experience places in a deeper, more meaningful way. Rome is a city I know and love, but I also know how overwhelming it can feel. Too often, travelers try to see everything in a rush, focusing only on the major highlights, and missing the true soul of cities they visit. This is why I’m here. I want to help you create a journey that feels like yours — one where you can explore the must-see highlights, but also slow down, breathe, and truly connect with what surrounds you. Whether it’s through hidden corners, local traditions, stories passed down through generations, or simply a glass of wine in the right place at the right time, I will design experiences that reflect your interests and your pace. My wish is for you to leave Italy not only with beautiful memories, but with a real sense of connection to its culture, its people, and its way of life. With me you, will be stress free!

I started to work as a guide in my home city, Vicenza, where I especially focused on the architecture by Andrea Palladio, one of the most influential artists of the Italian Reinassance. In 2009 I moved to Venice and my new city became also my new professional focus: I love the possibilites offered by Venice in terms of historical and artistic richness, but also in terms of easyness of moving and combining different things together. In 2020 I started a small YouTube channel about one of my hobbies: board gaming! For the future I'd like to also open a channel regarding my other hobby: collecting Lego bricks! :-)
