Camilla

Hi, I'm Camilla! I'm originally from the south of Italy, Sorrento, but I live in Rome. Right now I'm a languages master student and I work as a tour leader, a job that I find wonderful because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all around the world.

My biggest passions are music (I'm a singer and a pianist) and travelling. I've always travelled a lot in my life and from an early age, and I love to explore destinations going beyond the usual travel spots, I always try to find different angles and local experiences to enjoy whenever I'm travelling somewhere.

Overtime I developed a strong understanding to what makes travel memorable: small details, personalised advice and local experiences to make travellers feel like locals for a while! I know how important it is for travellers to receive authentic advice, and that's why I love helping people with the knowledge I have about the city I live in and the places I know.

My main areas of expertise focus on discovering Rome in an authentic way, going beyond the typical tourist routes.

• I feel particularly confident recommending local food experiences, as I love to try new food and food spots in my free time.

• I also use on a daily bases public transports, so I know exactly how to look for the best ones to take or which ones to avoid, because there could be a better way to get to the same place in less time.

• Another area I can add value is suggesting parks, ideal for having the true local experience.

I enjoy helping people experience Rome not only through its iconic landmarks, but also through small details that truly make a difference in a trip.
