Chloé
Paris
Hello, My name is Chloé. I grew up in Paris, so I know all the city's secrets. I am also a licensed guide, and I love to share Paris’s history with my groups. I am passionate about art so I know most of the Parisian museums and galleries. As a Parisian girl, I also love going out, especially for a nice cocktail, a meal, and live music.

Anthony
Paris, Versailles
I am a true Parisian at heart, shaped by the rhythm, history, and contrasts of the city I call home. I studied Art History at the Sorbonne, where I developed a deep understanding of artistic movements, cultural heritage, and the stories woven into every street and monument. Beyond Paris, I have traveled extensively, enriching my perspective and sharpening my curiosity about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. These experiences allow me to connect more easily with visitors from around the world and to share Paris through a broader, more nuanced lens. I am passionate about history, art, music, and cinema, and I love bringing these subjects to life through engaging narratives and unexpected connections. At the same time, I am a dedicated foodie, always exploring new places, from hidden local spots to refined dining experiences. Above all, I am deeply in love with Paris—its beauty, its energy, and its endless layers—and I take great pleasure in sharing that passion with others in an authentic and memorable way.

Hi, I'm Shelby, an American (Californian, to be specific), living in Paris since 2019. I editorialize my life in France, my hard-earned cultural lessons, restaurant explorations, and frequent faux pas on my Substack, Franchement. Enjoying food, wine, art, and history in Paris are my favorite hobbies, and I'm happy to share tips and visit ideas to make your stay feel like you're a true local.

Douglas Arthur
Paris, Versailles +8
Parisian and American both, I am a tourism professional with a decade of experience. With a rich, varied background and extensive education, I craft unique cultural experiences and tours for individuals and 5-star hotels in Paris. I am the founder of Vendôme Circle, a culturally-focused brand that offers connoisseur-level tours and experiences in Paris and beyond. My love for Paris began as a child, when I immersed myself in French cuisine, history, culture, and language. I have lived on the Left Bank near the Luxembourg Gardens since 2013. My path has been an adventure. I received a classical education in literature, philosophy, mathematics, art history, music theory, and ancient languages. I then entered seminary and was ordained a Catholic priest, serving as vicar of a large parish – where I oversaw and facilitated the growth of the Hispanic community – and as part-time chaplain at a Catholic high school. I later moved to Paris to pursue a Master's in Biblical Studies at the Catholic University of Paris. While here, I realised the priesthood was not for me. I left to start my life over, this time in Paris. As academia was still beckoning, I earned a Master's in Contemporary Philosophy at The Sorbonne, where I also pursued doctoral research on Jean-Paul Sartre and began a dissertation. It was during my time at The Sorbonne that I created my first walking tour of the Latin Quarter in 2017: a success that set me on my current path and ultimately led to the founding of Vendôme Circle. Beyond guiding and travel planning, my passions run deep and inform everything I do. I am an organist and pianist, a devoted foodie who has been cooking French cuisine since the age of nine, and a serious wine enthusiast. I am also a fine art photographer working exclusively in film, and a collector of antiques and porcelain with an intimate knowledge of the Paris market. I look forward to helping you put together a trip you will never forget.

Dasha
Paris
Hello, I’m Dasha. Parisian for over 22 years, I’ve spent the last 8 years guiding visitors through this incredible city in ways that feel personal, meaningful, and full of discovery. With a background of 5 years in Art History from the Sorbonne University and hands-on experience with galleries, auctions, and exhibitions, I bring a deep understanding of art, culture, and the unique beauty of Paris to every tour. I love crafting experiences tailored just for you whether it’s museum visits, hidden gems, local restaurants, or curated itineraries that make your time in Paris smooth and unforgettable. Beyond art, I’m passionate about architecture, fashion, and the Parisian way of life: food, wine, cheese, music—the little details that make a city come alive. For me, guiding isn’t just about sightseeing, it’s about care, connection, and helping you feel at home. Many of my international clients tell me it feels like having a family in Paris. That’s the experience I strive to create: a stay full of joy, inspiration, and a true love of the city.

fabienne
Toulouse, Bordeaux +1
Hello, my name is Fabienne, and I like to introduce myself as a Parisian. However, most of my family lives in Bordeaux, and my home is near Toulouse. That is why I have a deep knowledge of these three cities. I am a historian and a licensed professional guide. I have guided tours all over Europe and even beyond. I have been living abroad for the past 25 years, which I believe gives me both an insider’s and an outsider’s perspective on the three cities I am eager to share with you!

Bénédicte
London, Paris
Hi there! My name is Bénédicte, and I am a French guide in London. A true Anglophile, I studied English at the Sorbonne in Paris and then, Art History here in London. From British underground culture to London's industrial heritage, without leaving aside the painting masterpieces at the National Gallery and other museums, from major landmarks to more secret, hidden gems, my tours invite travellers to explore London and discover it as they have never seen it. Whether you would like to book a tour with me or simply review your programme, I will be able to help create a stay tailored to your interests, your travel style and your budget. As an art historian, I can assist in selecting which places to visit, what not to miss and is really worth seeing. As the mum of young ones, I also know that visiting a city with children can be challenging. I will be able to help you navigate London and arrange for stops at all the good family-friendly spots and attractions - and I can guarantee that these were personally tested and approved by my own children! If you feel like going further and booking a tour with me, my kids-friendly tours are specifically designed for younger visitors, with games, booklets, etc. Either way, I will be able to provide you with insights to make your stay enjoyable for the whole family. *Extra, extra!* Before I moved back to the UK four and a half years ago and created my guiding company, Arty Stories, I lived and worked in Paris (and Denmark, but that's another story!) on the art market, first at the auction house Christie's, and then at IDAIA's, an art gallery. I still go back to France regularly to visit my family, so if you are going to spend time in both London and Paris, I will be more than happy to support you in planning your trip, and give you my insider’s tips to make the most of your stay in the City of Light too - including croissant tasting! So, let's plan your London or Paris stay together!

nikki
Paris
Hi there! I am a blend of cultures, Chinese and French, shaped by an international upbringing and now based in Paris. While working in finance and traveling the world, driven both by my career and my curiosity, I followed art history class in the most renowned institution in Paris, at the same time, I worked as a freelance journalist, covering fashion weeks, art events, and the city’s most vibrant scenes. These diverse experiences granted me access to some of the most privileged moments in the City of Light and deepened my desire to share my hidden discoveries of Paris while connecting with people from around the world. Eventually, I left my comfortable corporate job to create a bespoke travel agency in Paris, focused on culture, art, and human connections.

Elodie
Paris
Bonjour ! I am Élodie, a Parisian in love with my city for more than 30 years. In fact, I have been working for Paris my entire career, as a licensed tour guide, a volunteer greeter, and a travel trade specialist. In the past I have lived in Montmartre and in the 10th arrondissement. Today I live in the 19th arrondissement, near Buttes Chaumont park: I enjoy being where it's lively, popular, simple, and where local life is the most authentic. By working closely with visitors from all over the world I understand what they expect, I know what they struggle with, I see what is challenging, and I believe I can bring my expertise and experience to the rescue, to make your trip to Paris flawless, memorable and allow you to make the best choices in your itinerary. Ask me where to go to be away from the crowds, or how to get around with a bus or a Metro, or where to enter the Louvre the easy way! I'd love to share my tips and tricks.

Cüneyt
Paris
If you are looking for a guide who loves Paris & French Riviera here I am! My name is Cüneyt, pronounced as "june8" I have published 28 books, all in Turkish which include poems, 5 novels, 5 essays about Paris, 1 about Istanbul, 3 cookbooks and many others. I love to live, travel and eat and also having the ability to share my experience makes me very happy. After the success and popularity of my books about Paris, I decided to start planning special tours where I could show my guests around and introduce them to the wonderful city of Paris. I do not have a book written about French Riviera but I lived there for about eight years and I know the region by hart. As an art lover and food connoisseur, I love to show my guests the artistic sides of the city & riviera take them to dine in restaurants they will not forget soon and leave them with amazing memories. I'm not a teacher and I know you're on vacation, so I'd rather make sure you have a good time than tell you what you'll forget right away. Let's be together and enjoy Paris and/or French Riviera

Paul
Paris
Hi ! I'm Paul. Artist, musician and ... tour guide in Paris. Been here since 2001(!). Ever since moving here I've always been impressed by the beauty and savoir faire of the City of Light, and now I'm grateful to be able to match places, art and architecture to the dates, names, people and events that have transpired here since before the founding of the Roman forum of Lutetia (the original Gallo-Roman settlement).

Benoit
Paris
Bonjour ! :-) I'm Benoît, a licensed tour guide in Paris for 4 years. Born and raised in Paris, I graduated from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and wrote my dissertation on the history of Parisian restaurants, which was awarded two prizes. After that, I found my dream job as a tour guide in my city — from Notre-Dame and the Louvre to the Marais, Saint-Germain and Montmartre, passing by the covered passages... there is so much to see and explore! Besides guiding, I continue my research as a historian: my first book "L'Invention des cafés parisiens" was published in 2023, and I’m currently preparing my PhD dissertation. So I specialize in the history of restaurants and cafés, and more broadly, I have in-depth knowledge of Parisian cultural and social history. When I want to relax, nothing beats a walk along the banks of the Seine, a sweet treat — my weakness 😇 — or a good book. I love doing my grocery shopping at my neighborhood market, which many Parisians consider the best in the city! Of course, I also enjoy getting away from Paris from time to time, especially since I’m lucky to have friends in many places. I've never traveled outside Europe, but I’ve explored many parts of the continent!
